Modern slavery policy.

At Extravaganza Promotional Merchandise, we take our commitment to modern slavery policy seriously. We understand that the ethical production of promotional items is not only a responsibility but a fundamental necessity. Our dedication to modern slavery policy means that every product we create and distribute is meticulously sourced and manufactured in compliance with stringent anti-slavery standards.

Introduction.

Slavery and human trafficking remains a hidden blight on our global society. We all have a responsibility to be alert to the risks, however small in our business and in the wider supply chain. Staff are expected to report concerns and management are expected to act upon them.

Organisation structure.

We are a distributor of promotional merchandise in the uk and we import products ready to sell from a variety of sources around the world. The company has a revenue turnover that is well under the legal requirement to create a modern slavery act policy though we have published our own policy regardless.

Our supply chain.

Our supply chains include the sourcing of products from wholesalers and suppliers predominantly from the UK but also from europe and far east.

Our policies on slavery and human trafficking.

We are committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in our supply chains or in any part of our business. Our anti-slavery policy reflects our commitment to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships and to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure slavery and human trafficking is not taking place anywhere in our supply chains.

Due diligence processes for slavery and human trafficking.

As part of our initiative to identify and mitigate risk –

•  Where viable, we use mostly UK suppliers and manufacturers to ensure optimum control of the work environment;  We use only verified suppliers who are members of the BPMA so we can be sure of overall quality and due diligence throughout the supply chain
•  We limit the geographical scope of our externally used supply factories overseas to ensure optimum supervision of the suppliers;
•  Where possible we build long-standing relationships with local and overseas suppliers and make clear our expectations of business behaviour;
• We have in place systems to encourage the reporting of concerns and the protection of whistle-blowers.

Supplier adherence to our values.

We have zero tolerance for slavery and human trafficking. We expect all those in our supply chain and contractors to comply with our values.

Training.

To ensure a high level of understanding of the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking in our supply chains and our business, we provide training to relevant members of staff. This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the modern slavery act 2015 and constitutes our company's slavery and human trafficking statement for the current financial year.
